Who we are
Wild Oak Cane Corso
Wild Roots. Loyal Hearts. Protective Souls.
Hey, I’m Lori Griffin, the owner of Wild Oak Cane Corso. Together with my incredibly supportive husband and our blended family of five amazing kids, we’ve built a life deeply rooted in love for the Cane Corso. What began as a simple rescue experience quickly grew into a lifelong passion — and ultimately, a purpose — to protect and preserve this incredible breed.
Our journey began when we rescued our first Corso in 2016. She showed us just how loyal, intelligent, and full of personality this breed can be — playful, affectionate, and always making us laugh with her bursts of energy — but also how heartbreaking the results of poor breeding practices can be. Despite all the love, training, and socializing we poured into her, we quickly learned how deeply genetics shape a dog’s temperament and overall well-being.
That experience changed everything for us. We reached out to experienced trainers and long-time Cane Corso breeders who helped us understand what we were going through and the importance of breeding for sound temperament, stable nerves, and strong, healthy structure. What began as heartbreak turned into purpose — to help preserve and protect the integrity of this incredible breed.
At Wild Oak Cane Corso, our dogs are family first. We raise each litter surrounded by children, daily activity, and love — ensuring every puppy is well-socialized and ready to thrive as both a loyal companion and a confident protector.
Our mission is simple: to produce Cane Corsos that embody the very best of the breed — strength, stability, and heart.
We LOVE protection breeds but none can compare to the Cane Corso! These are dogs we’ve had the pleasure of owning. Cane Corso is the beautiful girl that started our obsession, Cuda Bear. With her is Theseus (Doberman) and Dulce (German Shepherd).
