Puppy Purchase Agreement
Below is an overview of what’s included in our purchase agreement and what we ask of our adoptive families.
💕 Health & Care
Your puppy will go home healthy, vaccinated, and dewormed.
Please schedule a vet check within 3 business days of bringing your puppy home so you can start a great relationship with your own veterinarian.
We offer a 2-year genetic health guarantee (excluding common Cane Corso traits like cherry eye or mild eye/teeth conditions).
If a confirmed genetic issue arises within that time, we’ll happily provide a replacement puppy from a future litter.
To keep your guarantee valid, please make sure your puppy stays at a healthy weight, gets regular exercise, and isn’t over-crated.
🐶 Training & Socialization
Our Cane Corsos are smart, loyal, and eager to please — but they thrive with structure and consistency.
We start socializing our puppies early; it’s important you continue socialization and training once they come home.
We recommend enrolling in obedience classes by 20 weeks of age. It builds confidence, manners, and strengthens your bond.
Remember: temperament depends a lot on how your puppy is raised, trained, and loved every day.
🏡 Lifelong Commitment
Each Wild Oak puppy is sold as a companion and family guardian only. — If you are interested in a puppy for breeding the price is $3000, it will be selective stock and a different Purchase Agreement than the Quality Companion Agreement.
Your Cane Corso should always have proper shelter, food, clean water, and daily care.
These dogs are not to be used for fighting, chained outside, or left alone to guard commercial property. If you can no longer keep your dog, please contact us — your puppy always has a home with us at Wild Oak.
If a dog is ever bred, mistreated, or given away/surrendered to a shelter, we reserve the right to reclaim them and a $2,500 fine may apply.
💰 Refunds & Replacements
We do not offer cash refunds, we offer a replacement puppy out of a future litter.
If returning a dog, proof of spay or neuter is required before a replacement can be provided.
Travel or shipping expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
